Assemblage Nocturne, a chapter inside the Kansas City Dark Heartland, is a sanctioned Chapter of The Camarilla: White Wolf's Official Fan Club. AN has been an upstanding chapter since October 1996. We were the first chapter to try out the Sabbat venue and one of the first to get a venue style sheet on it. Assemblage Nocturne has been one of the biggest chapters in Kansas City since it's birth. We will continue to be one of the best chapters in The Camarilla in our years to come.

This month there has been talk of a few new Charities popping up. We are in record dryness this summer in Kansas City and with that comes a scorching heat we can't get away from. Many elderly, children, and animals have been caught in this heat with devastating outcomes. Channel 9 and Ace Hardware have come together again this year, to sponsor the Channel 9 Fan club. No this is not a club for people who like the news. This is an organization who takes donated fans to the less fortunate homes in our City. People without Air Conditioning or without enough money for fans. Some members have voiced their opinions in helping with this cause. So I have brain stormed and invited some other members of the domain to join us in a Car Wash with all the proceeds benefiting the Channel 9 Fan Club organization Those of us who are willing to get a little hot and a little drenched can sign up for the car wash at all games or online (via cryklc@yahoo.com) up until Saturday, August 30th. The car wash will take place at O'riellys on 23rd St. We are inviting the entire domain to participate in this fundraiser, for both chapter relations and community relations. The bigger donation we make the better publicity and the bigger impact we can make on Kansas City.

The Chapter organized fundraiser, Food for the Dead went very smoothly. Many members chipped in with both time and food donations. Not only did we exceed our goal, but our very generous co-sponsor, Silent Voice even donated half of there percentage back to the chapter cause. We would like to give them a BIG thanks! We would like to acknowledge some chapter members for their awesome help! A Special thanks as always to our CC Doug Howard for the patience he showed when we kept running out of things. Rich Peterson for all his help with food preparations. David Richardson and Chris Wyatt for all the chef's gophering. Jamie Collins who cooked everything for the entire night. Jenn Sheets, Joanna S. and David Doherty for donations. Chris Lackey for Set up help.
